Key Responsibilities

  • Program Development: Design and develop comprehensive training programs and materials that address skill gaps and support career development. Tailor content to meet the needs of diverse learning styles and job functions.
  • Training Delivery: Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually. Ensure sessions are engaging, informative, and effectively communicated.
  • Needs Assessment: Collaborate with department heads and employees to identify training needs and objectives. Conduct surveys and assessments to determine skill gaps and training effectiveness.
  • Scheduling and Logistics: Coordinate training schedules, manage logistics, and ensure that all training sessions are properly organized. Handle all administrative aspects of training programs, including registrations and feedback collection.
  • Evaluation and Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics. Make recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
  • Resource Management: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and new training technologies. Procure and manage training resources and tools.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all training programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on training activities, outcomes, and employee progress to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field. Certification in Training and Development (e.g., CPTD) is a plus.
  • Experience: Experience in training and development, with a proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Skills:
    • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and learning management systems (LMS).
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
