Position Summary
City Winery is the premier destination for music fans, foodies and wine lovers. With live entertainment nightly and a variety of dining and private event spaces, City Winery evokes urban wine country. This role works closely with internal departments and the Marketing Director, NY in communicating and marketing the City Winery brand to the music, culture, and culinary worlds. They will represent our brand and products and develop widespread awareness for our NY properties: City Winery Pier 57, City Vineyard, Rockefeller Center Wine Garden, and City Winery Hudson Valley.
Overview Of Responsibilities
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the regional marketing team and implement best practices for coordinating with artist teams, internal departments, and vendors.
Assist with the coordination, communication, and project management of events, artist talent, and show marketing plans by collecting and tracking all materials and information that will be impactful for successful campaign execution.
Assist in coordinating artist wine logistics, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and that products are executed and delivered on schedule.
Collaborate with graphic design on marketing creative, assemble Iterable emails, obtain approvals, and schedule weekly promotional emails.
Promote CW show announcements and promotions via weekly emails to the CW database, coordinate with marketing managers on upcoming content, and assist with email and SMS list segmentation and production.
Manage and maintain inventory and directory of marketing materials, including in-venue collateral and digital signage, to ensure all promotional content and event information is most up-to-date.
Maintain an inventory and directory of marketing materials while coordinating new material creation as needed.
Ensure consistency of published content (updated photos, videos and copy) across all properties and outlet listings on various websites.
Maintain up-to-date media databases with targeted media outlets and photographers lists in music, food, wine, events, etc.; keep a current copy on a shareable drive for company access.
Manage and maintain a list of our local influencers/VIPs while supporting their engagement with CW both onsite and digital
Send show listings out weekly; copy all relevant parties.
Monitor social media comments and direct messages to address incoming guest inquiries.
Compile all positive/negative reviews (e.g. Google, Yelp, Trip Advisor, etc.) and alert internally for prompt responses.
Collaborate with all departments on content, and keep all City Winery information current and active on the website.
Collect photos and logos to upload to the website from Programming or Talent directly.
Monitor & update external websites driving traffic to our site & links, including all artists websites, wine event websites, partner websites, travel sites, review sites, etc.
Monitor donation/philanthropic requests including gift-giving and auction requests.
Collaborate and maintain all NY menus and updates.
Additional projects, tasks, duties as per business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years of marketing experience and Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management or a related field
High integrity work ethic and a strong passion for music, hospitality, food and wine.
Experience supporting marketing campaigns, creative marketing collateral and coordinating projects with a focus on brand consistency and effective communication
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a focus on building strong relationships
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Adaptable and quick to learn in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Desire for career growth and a proactive attitude towards professional development
Must be able to work from the NYC Headquarters Office
