Your role and responsibilities
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.\n\nThe work model for the role is: onsite\n\nThis role is contributing to the Electrification Business.\n\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\n \tSupporting manufacturing transformation activities including layout improvements, tool organization, and visual management\n \tCollaborating with the operations team to strategically solve problems and support on-time delivery of ABB products manufactured to the highest quality\n \tWorking with the team to drive a safety culture by identifying improvements to work areas and processes\n \tDocument any best practices discovered and/or standards implemented

Qualifications for the role
- \tCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in engineering in the United States.
- \tIntern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- \tMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- \tUtilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
- \tEffectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- \tDemonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
- \tCollaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
