Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager, External Affairs at West Virginia American Water in Charleston, WV. The Manager will be responsible for stakeholder engagement, governmental affairs, government relations, communication, and public affairs to support the organization's external relationships and communications.
Qualifications
- Stakeholder Engagement, Communication, and Public Affairs skills
- Governmental Affairs and Government Relations experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with external partners
- Experience in the water utilities or related industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, or related field
