Overview

SelectBlinds is looking for a professional responsible for managing and executing the brand's social media marketing and influencer strategies. The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for creating, curating, and managing published content across social media platforms to build meaningful connections, encourage community members to take action, and enhance the company's brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Curation:

Develop, Write, And Design Engaging Content For Various Social Media Platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok).Schedule And Publish Content Using Social Media Management Tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite).Curate Content From Relevant Sources To Share On The Company's Platforms.Manage And Organize The Asset Library.Social Media Strategy

Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies that align with the company's marketing goals.Monitor trends in social media, ideating how to apply them to the brand.Community Management:

Work Alongside The Customer Service Team To Build And Manage Social Media Communities, Encouraging Active And Positive Participation.Support Daily Social Listening Efforts.Influencer Marketing

Identify and manage influencer relationships, particularly in the Home/DIY space.Manage influencer campaigns through the Later Influence Platform.Brand Management:

Education

Ensure that all social media content is aligned with the company's branding and voice guidelines.Maintain a cohesive social media presence that reflects the company's values and mission.Work with internal teams, such as marketing, merchandising, and customer service, to ensure content is consistent with the brand's voice and meets company goals.Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience).Experience:

Skills

Proven experience in managing social media platforms for a business or organization.Familiarity with social media analytics tools and content management systems. (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Airtable, Later Influence)Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.Creative thinking and ability to generate new ideas for content and campaigns.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Experience with social media planning, scheduling, and influencer marketing platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Airtable, Later Influence).Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Jira) is a plus.
