Job Description:


Established in 1998, Method3 is a small IT Consulting and Staffing company based in the Harrisburg Metro region. We are looking to hire a responsible and dependable person with prior accounting experience to provide back-office support with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and other business aspects.
Duties Include:

  • Full life cycle accounts receivable, including preparation of monthly invoices and maintaining customer and vendor records in Quickbooks.
  • Accounts Payable, including entry into the general ledger, scheduling and recording payments, and records maintenance.
  • Bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts in Quickbooks, review and prepare monthly reports.
  • General Ledger Maintenance in Quickbooks.
  • Prepare bi-weekly payroll and submit it to the payroll processing vendor.
  • Administration of payroll deduction accounts, including business & payroll taxes, health savings account deductions and deposits, and 401k deductions and deposits.
  • Monthly bank reconciliation and weekly deposit and cash reports
  • Vendor maintenance, including setting up new vendors, vendor invoice reconciliation, and any associated maintenance in designated systems.
  • Review expense and credit card reports for accuracy and record in general ledger.
  • Perform other related duties as may be required.

Other Responsibilities as Needed:

  • Assist with onboarding of new employees and new hire documentation
  • Assist with maintaining company insurance policies including reporting, renewals, and audits.
  • Assist with required quarterly filings.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or a related field
  • Quickbooks 2 to 3 years Minimum
  • Working knowledge of MS Office including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Teams
  • Must have excellent communication and organization skills
