Key Responsibilities:
Cisco and Arista Network Configuration:
Design, configure, and implement Cisco and Arista networking solutions to meet the organization's requirements.
Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of network devices.
DNAC Implementation:
Deploy and manage Cisco's DNA Center (DNAC) for centralized network automation, assurance, and analytics.
Routing and Switching Protocols:
Configure and optimize BGP and OSPF protocols for efficient and secure routing within the network.
Hands-on experience with Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 switching.
Certification Requirement:
Possess a CCNP certification, demonstrating a strong foundation in Cisco networking technologies.
Rack and Stack:
Willingness to perform rack and stack work as required for new installations or hardware upgrades.
Network Security:
Implement and maintain network security protocols to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
Collaboration and Documentation:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that align with business objectives.
Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Diagnose and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.
Provide technical support to end-users and collaborate with the IT support team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6-7 years of networking experience
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on Cisco, DNAC, and Arista technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and switching protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with other networking technologies such as Arista, Palo Alto, etc.
- Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) is a plus.
