Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cybersecurity and data classification projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Develop project plans, set milestones, and track progress.
- Oversee the implementation and management of cybersecurity measures, including risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response as they relate to Data Policy and Data Classification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and business units, to ensure alignment and address any issues related to data security and policy.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on data security best practices and policies. Foster a culture of security awareness within the organization.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data policies, procedures, and security measures. Prepare regular reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Support change management efforts and drive user adoption.
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Project Management within cybersecurity with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry. Proven experience managing projects related to data governance are preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Purview, SailPoint, or Varonis is essential. Strong understanding of data security technologies, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and a strong analytical mindset.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and lead initiatives that involve multiple stakeholders.
