Project Manager - Industrial Construction

We have partnered with a large construction company in the Portland, OR area to provide them with a Project Manager – Industrial Construction. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Project Manager – Industrial Construction:

#1. Must have at least 7 years of Industrial Construction Management experience.

#2. Must have ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, P&IDs, flow diagrams, process data sheets, and to identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents.

#3. Must have strong working knowledge and skill of Microsoft Office products.

#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.

Requirements Of The Project Manager – Industrial Construction

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial construction, showcasing strong skills in problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail.
• Background in working with manufacturing clients across various environments, particularly on construction sites related to chemical and advanced materials manufacturing.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction-related documentation, including P&IDs, flow diagrams, process data sheets, and the ability to spot and address discrepancies or conflicts within these documents.
• Familiarity with engineering and construction documents, such as data sheets, specifications, and their associated approval processes.
• Hands-on experience in process construction, including the installation of equipment, process piping, mechanical systems, electrical and instrumentation (E&I), and utilities.
• Previous experience with industrial building projects, including civil works, concrete, steel structures, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and fire protection (FP), is considered beneficial.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for business purposes.
• A proactive approach and a commitment to being an engaged member of the firm’s culture within the construction engineering industry.
