Job Title: Construction Manager
Job Description
The Construction Manager oversees company projects during the construction and commissioning phase. The Construction Manager is responsible for ensuring construction subcontractors are executing the work in accordance with safety, quality, reporting, contract, standards, change management, risk management, and schedule requirements. The Construction Manager’s additional responsibilities are proper communication with project team and project stakeholders to include standardized reporting and conducting appropriate construction meetings. They will be responsible for driving subcontractor performance. They will be leading subcontractor and crews to build distribution systems throughout New Orleans and Jefferson Parish. They will be responsible for overall production and quality of the job and their crew(s). They will be leading a team of upwards of 25 people at a time. **Favorable if you have supported Entergy distribution projects in the past.
Hard Skills
This is a 12 month contract position, for up to 5 years to support this utility resiliency program.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in the Greater New Orleans area, Louisiana.
Work Environment
This particular program will go for five years. It will be in the field pushing and coordinating the work of subcontractor crews. Hours are generally 50+ per week.
