Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Housing Choice Voucher Supervisor:

#1. Must have at least 5 years of Supervisor/Leadership experience and BS Degree.

#2. Must have Program Knowledge of public administration and public housing management.

#3. Must have knowledge of and ability to use system of records, i.e. Visual Homes, Emphasys, QualCheck, QualTrack, Word, Excel, etc.

#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.

Requirements Of The Housing Choice Voucher Supervisor

  • Experience: A minimum of five years in overseeing and managing programs related to housing assistance or affordable housing, with at least two years in a supervisory role. A bachelor's degree in areas such as business administration, public administration, social sciences, or a related discipline is required. Equivalent combinations of relevant education and experience that meet the necessary criteria may be considered.
  • Expertise: Solid understanding of program development, monitoring, and assessment methods. Familiarity with the core principles of public administration, housing management, community support resources, contract negotiation, legal procedures, and municipal budgeting practices.
  • Technical Proficiency: Adept at using record-keeping systems such as Visual Homes, Emphasys, QualCheck, QualTrack, as well as standard software tools like Word, Excel, and other related programs.

Other Key Requirements

  • In-office role. (Client will consider out of state candidates.)
  • No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
