Gaming Attendant (Cat 4)

Job Description

Motivates Player Representative work force to create a feeling of luck and anticipation for the gaming customers, while delivering courteous and comprehensive service to everyone on the casino floor. Ensures that all Company service and operating standards are consistently met. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, Internal Audit policies and PGCB regulations.

• Gaming Attendant will serve two separate job functions: Player Services Representative and Electronic Table Games Dealer (see below).
• Gaming Attendant can be reassigned a job function once during one shift but may not be subsequently reassigned back to the original job function.
• Provide appropriate and professional care and service to guests.
• Interact with department and company employees in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote team spirit and ensure effective two-way and cross-culture communications.
• Practice and foster open, clear, two-way communication with all related departments and superiors.
• Handles customer complaints, and, if necessary, solicits involvement and support from supervisor.
• Develop and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all Company events and promotions and be able to answer guests questions accordingly.
• Ensure Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as internal controls, policies, and business processes.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
  
  

Player Services Representative Responsibilities

• Provides fast and friendly gaming services including making change for players, verifying that machines are well maintained, enrolling players in our customer rewards program, and promoting Company events and offerings.
• Understands and responds to customer service requests registered via slot dispatch, slot candlelights, radio, and face-to-face requests in correct "priority" order.
• Possesses thorough knowledge of slot game types.
• Verifies and countersigns hand paid jackpots in accordance with current gaming regulations.
• Corrects minor machine malfunctions including coin jams, printer errors, bill valuators, and slot light repairs.
• Carries a bank/wallet, and balances wallet accurately at the end of each shift.
  
  

Electronic Table Games Dealer Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet customers warmly who play at, or approach assigned games.
• Conduct table transactions and provide signatory validations according to Company and regulatory rules.
• Ensure accuracy and completion of all signatory paperwork and transactions.
• Ensure the protection and integrity of assigned games, currency, equipment, and other assets in assigned areas.
  
  

Required Experience

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Bachelors degree strongly preferred. At least 2 years of experience in the field of slot operations.
• Must have excellent organizational and planning skills, and strong communication skills.
• Must be able to work all shifts and weekends/holidays as required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and through written communications.
• Must be knowledgeable of all federal, state, and local regulations relevant to slot operations.
• Good proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Ability to pass a math test and calculate payouts during a live game in front of guests.
• High School Diploma. Excellent Guest Service skills.
• Certification from an accredited dealing school or dealing experience in a licensed facility
