About this role:

An internationally acclaimed interior design and architecture firm founded in the UK is seeking a passionate and creative Interior Designer to join the NY team.

An international interior design practice with a strong architectural influence is seeking an inspired Interior Designer to lead a variety of dynamic, high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create design documents, including Design Development (DD), Construction Document (CD) sets, and schedules, from Concept Design through Installation
  • Concept designs on high-end residential and mixed-use commercial projects (high-quality restaurants, bars, hotels and multi-use developments)
  • Communicate with clients both existing and potential by guiding conversations and paying close attention to requirements
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with fellow professionals, contractors, artisans and craftspeople
  • Strong ability to space plan, read architectural drawings, FF&E design + specifications skills and finishes showcasing your knowledge of current interior and furniture trends

Skills and Experience:

  • A high level of comfort and experience with producing technical drawings and specifications and producing drawings for custom FF&E and fixtures
  • Ability to project manage and lead simultaneous projects
  • Demonstrate a high degree of experience with CAD drawing package (preferably VectorWorks)
  • Possess the ability to present your work to both internal partners and clients effectively
