Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and expanding our client base in the IT services industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT solutions and services, be results-oriented, and have excellent negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
Identify and engage with potential clients to understand their IT service needs and provide tailored solutions.
Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including proposal development and contract negotiation.
Maintain a deep understanding of our IT services offerings (e.g., software development, cloud solutions, cybersecurity) to effectively communicate value to clients.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., delivery, project management) to ensure seamless client onboarding and project execution.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to build relationships and promote the company s services.
Track market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in IT services.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of IT services and solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Experience with CRM tools and sales tracking software.
