Job Description Details:
Enterprise Business Intelligence Solution (EBI) has for the last several years leveraged the Informatica PowerCenter application to perform a larger amount of data movement. This tool provides the capabilities of Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) of data from any source to any target for any agency in the enterprise. EBI has learned that Information has scheduled the PowerCenter product line for end-of-life within the next few years. Informatica has a cloud-based replacement solution, and this project is the effort to migrate all existing ETL workflows to that new solution. The addition of this Team Lead will support the integrity of migrating ETL workflows. This CAI position will utilize the Informatica Migration Toolset, correct any inconsistencies from automated migration and manually migrate any ETL workflows that the Toolset cannot accomplish.

Responsibilities include:
The EBI Technical Development Team Lead will work closely with members of the EBI & Agency Stakeholders to confirm the migration of existing ETL workflows success. The Team Lead will manage the IICS Migration Team under the supervision of the EBI Management Team. EBI Technical Development Team Lead will coordinate resources and work to deliver the IICS Migration project time and within budget. The Team Lead is assigned responsibility and accountability for overseeing the successful completion of all work assigned to the IICS Migration Team.

The EBI Technical Development Team Lead will perform the conversion of workflow management implementation to access and trigger the new IICS-based Informatica Workflows.
Monitors stability of production applications owned by IICS Migration Team.
Prepares estimates for maintenance and enhancement of existing applications and development of new applications.
Performs detailed reviews of interim and final tasks as appropriate.
Balances workload with Application Team's capacity by managing the IICS Migration Team activities according to schedule.
Analyzes EBI data and transformations and perform data validation and integration testing.
Recommend and implement performance improvements of ETLs and optimization of scheduling efficiencies.
Must be proficient with Informatica Powercenter, EDC (MetaData Management), IDQ (Data Quality), Informatica s Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Informatica s Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), andHL7 Library on Linux.
Proficient with workflow automation concepts and the tool CA Workload Automation DE.
Monitoring and support of Informatica workflows in the EBI and effectively communicate with SMEs regarding failures, outages and/or delays in downstream processing as needed.
Research and troubleshoot operational and performance issues on production systems.
Work as directed by DoIT management to apply DoIT coding standards, Release Management procedures, source code control (GitHub) and best practices.
Must safeguard and protect data in compliance with established EBI Data Governance, any state, federal or industry regulations and standards.
Produces estimates of time and resources required to perform various tasks as part of a team.
