Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Recruit and onboard new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are integrated effectively.
Day-to-Day HR Support:
- Provide support and guidance to management and staff on complex, specialized, and sensitive HR issues.
- Administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances, such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and handling terminations.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, reviewing policies and practices regularly to maintain compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Performance Management:
- Partner with the leadership team to execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy, particularly regarding current and future talent needs, recruiting, and retention.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and root causes of turnover, implementing strategies to address these issues.
Management of HR Coordinators:
- Supervise and mentor HR coordinators, offering support and tools for success.
- Delegate tasks and ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback for professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment within the HR team.
Additional Duties:
- Performs other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR department.
- Oversight and management of employee records and files under the direction other CHRO.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on talent acquisition and generalist functions.
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring HR coordinators or junior HR staff.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
