Momentm (a Vontas Partner) is a one-stop-shop for people transportation software and in-vehicle technology that specializes in providing solutions for non-emergency medical transportation, or NEMT (think medical appointment transportation). As a New Product Developer / Initiative Champion at Momentm, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful development, sales and marketing of a new software product to serve the Start-up NEMT market.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for driving the business and development execution for our Start-up PACE/Provider initiative. You will develop deep relationships with our customers to thoroughly understand and prioritize their needs and garner feedback on product design and secure early adopters. Working collaboratively with your colleagues, you will lead a team that will deliver solutions that will exemplify innovation, delight customers and lead to increased revenue growth. You will be the product evangelist both internally and externally. As an individual contributor, you will influence colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, through your use of evidence and logic.

You won’t only help build great products, but you’ll also be instrumental in their positioning and promotion. You’ll collaborate with marketing on the creation of thought leading content, product collateral and targeted campaigns, as well as enable the sales team through training and sales tools. To effectively position your product against competitors, you will analyze and maintain knowledge of emerging market trends and the competition.

When you aren’t talking to or visiting prospects and customers, engaging in opportunities to make you the market expert, you will be an integral part of the development team, participating in daily stand-up meetings, as well as software design and planning. With each new release, you will ensure the company is prepared to promote, sell, deploy, and support the product. In fact, you will be part of the initial team to uncover new prospects and opportunities and generate the first new sales for this initiative.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a transportation related role (preferably NEMT).
  • Prior experience in a sales related role.
  • Prior experience managing either a sales or product team.
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a Transportation related field.
  • Solid business/financial acumen and strategic thinking aptitude.
  • Effective communicator and listener.
  • Familiarity with working in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - working internally and with customers.
  • Self-motivated with strong energy and drive!
  • Ability to produce quality work in a timely manner.
  • Passionate about technology.
  • Excellent multi-tasker and ability to meet multiple deadlines with competing demands.
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time within North America.

Nice To Have Qualifications

  • Familiarity/Expertise with Broker/Provider/PACE NEMT Transportation operations
  • Familiarity with Aha! Product Management Software and JIRA
  • Product Management certification or training (such as Pragmatic’s certification).
