  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. Select Sites can use Javascript.

MEP Special Inspector

Location: New York City

About the Company

National Engineering firm with a presence in 5 states with over 25 years of experience in providing mechanical, electrical and commissioning services to a range of public and private sector clients and revenue more than $100m per year.

They are now looking to add an MEP Special Inspector to their growing New York City team.

Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)

  • Conduct inspections of mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations following relevant codes and project specifications
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and contractors to resolve any issues or discrepancies during inspections
  • Witness testing of MEP systems including duct and piping pressure testing, sprinkler system testing and HVAC performance
  • Review and interpret construction plans, specifications and applicable codes

Experience Required

  • At least 3 years of experience in MEP Field Inspections
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and applicable codes (NYC Building code, NFPA, ASHRAE)
  • Certification as an MEP inspector with relevant qualifications
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools
