RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Reston, VA that is seeking a Technical Writer III/Policy Writer.

Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the Policy Center of excellence to understand documentation requirements and optimization guidelines
* Gather information from subject-matter experts to organize, outline, consolidate and edit policies, standards, and procedures to adhere to current documentation standards
* Document content for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation
* Report on all governance document revisions, updates, and deletions

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3 or more years of related experience in Policy, Legal, or technical writing
* Risk management practice experience; Prior experience in Audit, Compliance or Enterprise Risk Management
* Great command of the English language
* Strong writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
* Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
* Good organizational skills
* Experience in writing documentation and procedures for various audiences

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
