Main Sail is seeking an experienced SAP S4/HANA Solution Architect to support an implementation project for a Department of Energy client. The architect will be responsible for defining the future state of business functions within the SAP Ecosystem Product Roadmap, analyzing high-level architecture concepts, and comparing SAP product roadmaps with the client environment, including data flows, interfaces, and Tier 1 direct connect/satellite systems.
Responsibilities:
- Define the future state of business functions within the SAP Ecosystem Product Roadmap.
- Develop and present high-level architecture concept documents, comparing current and future states.
- Analyze and document SAP product roadmaps, data flows, and system interfaces.
- Evaluate current environment and perform gap analysis against SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
- Lead workshops with stakeholders to align on architecture and integration strategies.
- Ensure alignment of technical architecture with business objectives and project goals.
- Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure seamless transition and integration.
- Provide expert guidance on migrating from PeopleSoft to SAP S/4HANA.
Experience/Qualifications:
- 6+ years of proven experience as a Solution Architect with multiple SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Strong expertise in defining and documenting SAP architecture and system integration.
- Prior experience migrating from PeopleSoft to SAP S/4HANA highly preferred.
- In-depth understanding of SAP product roadmaps, data flows, and integration patterns.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex architectural concepts to stakeholders.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
Location: Remote with 50% Travel to Kansas City MO
