10+ years of experience relational databases, and Structured Query Language (SQL).
10+ years of experience documenting and understanding complex business and data relationships, through Entity Relationship
Diagrams (ERDs).
Demonstrated communication experience, working with business and technical teams.
5+ years of experience developing and understanding ETL for data transformation.
Nice to Have Skills:

Familiarity with Tableau.
Familiarity with Business Objects.
Tech Writing, with an emphasis on communicating between the business and technical needs of a cross functional project team.

Business and Data Analyst capabilities with 10 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Provide support for database/dataset inventories. Analyze the logical and physical database models and ensure data models / data dictionaries are up to date. Generate and prepare meta data linking datasets to associated business processes.

Senior role that has responsibility supporting the analysis and documentation of data asset inventories for existing software and systems. This role will be assisting with system transformation efforts ensuring that business processes are properly mapped to supporting system data assets. When data inventories are identified, this role will work with subject matter experts, SME 's, from the business and technology teams to document links between the assets and business processes. Additionally this role may be asked to work with SME's to update data dictionaries and document important meta data associated with the assets that will streamline system transformation from existing mainframe based systems to a web based system. This role also load datasets into relational databases creating table structures to link and cross reference data assets with reports, applications, interfaces, batch processes and their associated business processes. Good oral and written communication skills are required. This position currently offers the option to work up to 100% remote, this could change to 1000% in house. On-site at the Madison, Wisconsin.
Pay range: $45 to $51 per hour on W2.
