Description GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, security, maintenance and improvement of our database(s). This position will work with internal stakeholders to identify system requirements and business needs, build, configure, and automate technology solutions within Salesforce and the Salesforce-based Fonteva AMS to deliver business value and enable staff users, client organizations and customers to get the most from our technology. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to, technical project management, database management/administration and Salesforce analysis. Core responsibilities include supporting users, managing data/data hygiene, maintaining security standards, and delivering actionable analytics.

Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data management to improve/maintain data quality and integrity through data cleansing, de-duping, implementing rules, automations and other data management and hygiene techniques as needed.
    • Manage internal ticketing system (currently in Smartsheet) and resolve user support tickets.
  • Direct all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, security settings, public groups, OWD, sharing rules.
  • Salesforce and Fonteva configuration changes, including but not limited to, flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, forms, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration and automations.
  • Configure and manage advanced features such as Salesforce.com API, data imports/exports, data loads from legacy systems, customizations, etc.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards.
    • Identify, install and maintain appropriate apps from the AppExchange to support business needs.
  • Create training materials, written procedural documents and document system customizations made in Salesforce and/or integrated applications.
  • Create and conduct training for new and ongoing users.
  • Manage integrated applications including DocuSign, HubSpot, Qualtrics, Aventri, and any future additions.
  • Identify and gather requirements from users & stakeholders, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities to support additional business processes or functions, make recommendations and design solutions that improve user experience, increase efficiency, eliminate manual processes, expand platform utilization, and align with the overall company strategy.
  • Create a platform roadmap, work with stakeholders to define priorities and communicate platform/system changes to end users and stakeholders.
  • Research changes and plan for upgrades, seasonal releases and long-term projects.
  • Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer.
    • Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 2+ years of Fonteva or Salesforce based AMS experience. Candidates with general AMS experience and knowledge of Salesforce will be considered.
    • Experience with Salesforce and/or Fonteva configurations, including custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and user permissions.
    • Experience with Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Flow, and Lightning Process Builder.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce security model, including profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
    • Ability to troubleshoot Salesforce and/or Fonteva issues and solve complex problems.
    • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration
    • Experience with Lightning platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Communities
      • Sandbox environment management.
      • Identify unused or under-utilized platform features.
      • Work with management to establish strategic direction, objectives, and key performance indicators for the environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND

Required:

  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 2+ years of Fonteva or Salesforce based AMS experience. Candidates with general AMS experience and knowledge of Salesforce will be considered.
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Fonteva configurations, including custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and user permissions.
  • Experience with Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Flow, and Lightning Process Builder.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce security model, including profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Salesforce and/or Fonteva issues and solve complex problems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration
  • Experience with Lightning platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Communities

Desirable:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • SQL and Apex programming proficiency preferred.
  • Salesforce certification e.g., Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder
  • Additional technical certifications
