Network AND Systems Administrator

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a unique role with equal balance of Network AND Systems Administration in Manufacturing located in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Your role will involve maintaining the balance between network and system administration due to our on-prem servers. You will also be instrumental in setting up an additional server backup facility in the coming years.

Please Note: This is a fully onsite position with awesome flexibility, but remote candidates or those needing a Hybrid schedule need not apply- this is a hard point.

Responsibilities:

Work on network tasks such as evaluating, optimizing, configuring, and installing various network systems.

Maintain on-prem servers and cloud-based servers (AWS and Azure).

Perform routine system monitoring and troubleshooting to maintain optimal server performance.

Proficient in the MS Office Suite, Veeam/VMWare, and Fortinet Suite, including firewalls.

Utilize knowledge of Azure, AWS, and Cybersecurity tools like Proofpoint.

Be involved in setting up an additional server backup facility.

Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

Maintain accurate customer credit records.

Resolve customer inquiries and monitor customer accounts.

Utilize Active Directory, Configuration Management, Deployments, FortiGate, Fortinet Firewalls, Veeam, Veeam Backup, Hyper-V, MS Office 365, familiarity with both Azure, AWS

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the role of Network Administrator, preferably within the Plastics Manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in Active Directory, including user and group management.
Demonstrable skills in Configuration Management for maintaining system security and performance.
Experience with Deployments, including software installation and upgrades.
Knowledge of FortiGate and Fortinet Firewalls for network protection and security.
Familiarity with Veeam and Veeam Backup for data protection and disaster recovery.
Proficiency in Hyper-V for virtualization management.
Strong skills in MS Office 365 for administrative tasks and collaboration.
Experience with Microsoft Azure for cloud computing services.
Knowledge of AWS Technologies for cloud services and solutions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
