Job Title: Pre-Award Specialist II
Job Description
The Pre-Award Specialist II provides pre-award services to help research investigators develop and submit federal, state, foundation, private, and other sponsored project proposals throughout the entire research enterprise of the health system. Responsibilities include providing services in various aspects of the proposal preparation phase, interpreting sponsoring agency guidelines, budget development, gathering documentation to support sub-awards and subcontracts, coordination of required approvals, and regulatory requirements. The role involves oversight and management of assigned proposals (up to 80 proposals per year), reviewing project budgets, coordinating Proposal Development assistance to Principal Investigators (PIs), and ensuring that proposals meet sponsor requirements and compliance.

Work Environment

Hard Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Bachelor's Degree required, higher education preferred
