Job Summary: The Cloud Sales Specialist is responsible for driving partner recruitment and achieving sales targets for a portfolio of cloud solutions. This role involves executing sales and marketing campaigns through a CRM platform, managing partner relationships, and providing support and education on cloud programs. The position is pivotal in fostering partner relationships, developing pipelines, and contributing to the overall success of the cloud business unit.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Quota Achievement: Consistently meet assigned quota targets and strategic objectives.
  • Campaign Execution: Timely execution of sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Metric Management: Achieve key metrics such as phone activity, lead conversion rates, win rates, partner recruitment, and transaction frequency.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and manage relationships with partners to drive significant revenue opportunities, including regular visits/travel to customers.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with sales teams, cross-departmental units, and cloud vendor resources to develop and win sales opportunities.
  • Partner Transformation: Influence customer adoption of new cloud business models and solutions.
  • Communication: Articulate the cloud business unit's strategy and value proposition effectively.
  • Partner Management: Maintain accurate documentation of partner information, build pipelines, and execute outreach to secure new business.
  • Pipeline Management: Adhere to CRM sales pipeline policies and provide accurate sales forecasts to leadership.
  • Vendor Relations: Develop relationships with key cloud vendors to identify new partner opportunities.
  • Cloud Acumen: Maintain high-level business and technical knowledge of cloud technology and associated services.
  • Results Oriented: Demonstrate a strong drive for results, overcome obstacles, and persist through challenges.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience managing partner relationships with proven performance. Experience in telesales processes and pipeline management is also required.

  • Familiarity with basic Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and office productivity software.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • High capacity for product knowledge, technical acumen, and understanding of cloud business models.
