A TEKsystems client is seeking a full-time System/Solution Architect to join their team, focusing on the healthcare sector and the early stages of the development cycle. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, mentoring, and scaling large systems. They should be prepared to discuss their previous system designs and the functionalities those systems provided. Key responsibilities include identifying and implementing the right technologies, including conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new technologies, understanding and enhancing existing architecture to integrate new functionalities, and quickly getting up to speed with the current system to start designing capabilities from a high-level architectural perspective. This role requires collaboration with project management and technical teams for validation, as well as refactoring and redesigning incoming system components. The architect will be responsible for the design and technical implementation of the company's patient engagement solutions for leading healthcare providers, optimizing the technical architecture of the client's current and future products, and working closely with engineering, project, and IT teams. Additional requirements include expertise in designing large systems with edge, cloud, and hardware components, and experience with video systems is a significant plus, though not mandatory.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Will be working closely with the development team
- Currently have a hybrid model, certain piece of the client infrastructure is from an edge perspective
- Some AWS experience would e nice and some on-premise w/ migration to the cloud
- Messaging system/que experience would be a plus, API messaging, a little bit of web circuit as well w/ an interesting set of components related to web circuit-
- HL7 exposure would be a huge plus as well
Defining and documenting the overall solution architecture.
Working with product stakeholders to comprehend their needs and requirements.
Evaluating the choosing the appropriate technologies for the solutions.
Developing and maintaining the appropriate architecture standards.
Ensuring that the solution meets the performance, scalability requirements.
Working with our security team to ensure appropriate standards.
Providing technical guidance and support to our Healthcare engineering.
Workplace: Remote - may be some onsite expectations quarterly/bi-annually.
Work Environment: Typical hours are 8:00-5:00pm CST, Monday-Friday. Will need to work CST hours.
