Pump Design Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Layout and design assigned tasks within a major project.
• Provide all required calculations and documentation for any checked and/or approved design.
• Verify and check drawings and layouts.
• Communicate technical principles and equipment operation to other departments (i.e., operations, sales, parts, and to customer).
• Develop application information for proposals on all product lines.
• Support sales activity with technical information on control capabilities and equipment.
• Support parts operation by generating substitutions and/or improved systems when required with economic limits.
• Interfaces with shop personnel as required to resolve questions concerning manufacturing issues.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
