Position Summary
Manufacturing Support Intern is responsible for monitoring and managing overall performance (KPI's) of the main production lines.

- Planned vs. actual
- Process defects
- Cost management
- Loss and labor cost
- Line of balance and asset management.
- Plan and schedule line improvement activities.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Promise Attendance System
- Drive the reduction of defective parts through sustaining the best production conditions promoting corrective actions.
- Assist in managing Inventory Control
- Special Projects:
- Review and create improvement plan for line ergonomics
- Review workstations and create a line improvement plan
- Analyze loss of balance and suggest improvement plans

Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Must be a rising/junior or rising/senior pursuing a four-year degree in Business Management, Business Operations, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related degree.
- Experience: Prior work and/or internship experience in a business field is ideal, but not required
- Knowledge: Must have/had coursework in engineering studies, and/or a related science field
- Skills: Microsoft Office
- Physical Requirements: All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
