PotomacWave is seeking a Financial Budget Analyst to support our team in Frederick, MD. This position will provide support in all budgetary, financial, and fiscal activities to include, but not limited to, the financial planning and execution for the project, developing and maintaining all project budgets and spend plans, coordinating with required individuals and appropriate resource management to execute the project s financial resources.

This position involves providing management and technical support in the areas of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE). This support will be in the preparation, review, analysis, coordination and maintenance of documentation and associated databases used in management systems. This includes Future-Years Defense Program (FYDP) planning, development of transformational support programs, and maintenance of the data management systems that provide fiscal support for current year funds execution.
Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and maintain all required documentation to satisfy governance requirements.
  • Coordinate and assist in meeting all higher order programmatic milestones and obtaining certifications.
  • Support all business operations activities to include, but not limited to, the accessibility and use of all Government databases, where contractors are permitted, for the execution of all business functions required for the success of the program.

Qualifications:

  • Five or more (5+) years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or MIS, or other relevant subject area
  • Experience with General Fund Enterprise System (GFEBS)
  • Communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates
  • Must have a Public Trust clearance or ==== capable of obtaining a Public Trust clearance
