Job Title: C++ Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA / Saint Paul, MN - Onsite
Duration: Long Term Contract

Experience and Qualification:

  • This role demands a senior-level C++ engineer with a strong background in Linux, Kafka, JSON parsing, and working with APIs and databases.
  • 8+ years of C++ experience with Linux programming, especially with classes, namespaces, std containers.
  • There are 2 new API libraries that have to be learned and juggled
  • Modern Kafka / librdkafka libraries.
  • JSON C++ parsing. We are trying to learn/evaluate JSON parsing libraries in C++. I m trying to determine the best parsing library and RapidJSON is my initial candidate but experience with other tools would be helpful as well.
  • Note: For (i) and (ii), many times I am having to read the underlying API C++ library source code to fully understand the library. The documentation and examples of these libraries is not the best.
  • Good familiarity with Linux Makefiles, GDB debugging, Git, shell scripting, and other common Linux development tools.
  • Oracle SQL experience.
  • Experience running native Windows and Linux applications and remote display of each.

  • Stand up example deployments. Work with the required infrastructure team to deploy new clients.
  • Identify permanent solutions to promote, support, and debug OMS client issues.
  • Perform basic sanity checks of the OMS client. Manage the comparison.
