Oracle Cloud Integration Developer

Job Summary: The Senior OIC Developer is responsible for designing and developing robust, performant, monitored, and scalable data integration solutions to support business automation initiatives. This role assures the accuracy and consistency of critical business data across business systems by leveraging knowledge and skill in the specification, design, creation, maintenance, and support of integrations using selected iPaaS toolsets. The Senior OIC Developer provides technical support during both critical and non-critical business hours.

Responsibilities:

• Integration Design and Development (40%):
• Apply knowledge of iPaaS toolsets, including adapters, recipes, and commercially available tools to design, deliver, test, and support robust, reusable, scalable, performant, and monitored automated business system integrations.
• Continuously pursue no-code, low-code solutions that are loosely coupled, resilient, and self-monitoring wherever possible.
• Support vendors under contract to build integrations by providing assistance with business logic, integrations, testing, and business engagement.
• Business and Data Analysis (20%):
• Develop an understanding of the assigned business process and supporting systems and data environments through business and IT partnership, data profiling, and analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality using enterprise data platforms and tools.
• System Integration and Optimization (20%):
• Develop synchronous and asynchronous integrations with Commercial SaaS Applications, commercial applications, and proprietary applications hosted by the company or other hosting partners.
• Work with partner application subject matter experts to design solutions considering design constraints and optimization of connected systems as well as the interface design.
• Build solutions for data extraction, cleansing, transformation, enrichment, loading, and validation for successful data migration implementation.
• Agile Team Participation (10%):
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to a healthy Agile team environment.
• Provide effort and time estimates for investment decisions, increment planning, sprint planning, etc.
• Documentation and Compliance (10%):
• Document data integration and data quality results, requirements, proposed solutions, configurations, and code to ensure traceability from requirements through code implementation.
• Consult with infrastructure and application architects to integrate solutions consistent with the company's architecture and standards.

Other Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the management of tools and platforms to ensure appropriate execution of software patches and upgrades.
• Collaborate with capacity planning and performance testing groups to ensure solutions perform to Service Level Agreements.
• Execute installation, connection, patching, tuning, and support activities for vendor products.
• Recognize process and/or design inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Support methods and solutions that foster progressive federation of interface creation to a wider set of practitioners.
• Provide operational support for software products including performance tuning, transaction cost optimization, capacity management, and problem resolution.

Requirements:

• Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience (Preferred).
• Work Experience:
• 3 years of experience in iPaaS solution development (e.g., Oracle, MuleSoft, SAP, SnapLogic, TIBCO, etc.) (Required).
• 5 years of experience in software or business process engineering focusing on data integration, data processing, data quality, data migration, and data governance (Required).
• 5 years of experience in developing integration solutions using common enterprise patterns and programming languages (e.g., XML, XPATH, XSDL, XQUERY, SQL, etc.) (Required).
• 5 years of experience in connecting integrations with various technologies and endpoints (Required).
• 3 years of experience in developing iPaaS interfaces for use with SaaS, ERP, and proprietary applications, as well as integration with other commonly used commercial applications and proprietary on-premises applications (Preferred).
• 2 years of experience in cloud technologies (Preferred).

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong verbal communication and listening skills (Intermediate).
• Strong documentation skills, including specification creation, process mapping, and ability to read and interpret requirements and architectural diagrams (Intermediate).
• Proficiency in data profiling and monitoring, data migration, data extraction and orchestration, and data modeling.
• Experience in test-driven development, automated test development, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Ability to build data jobs for data cleansing and enrichment, standardization, parsing, and transformation.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.
