Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday IT Manager to oversee and manage the Human Capital Management (HCM) module within our Workday system. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategy, implementation, and ongoing management of the HCM functionalities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with company policies. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Workday HCM, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to optimize human resources processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workday HCM Management:
    • Lead the ongoing administration, enhancement, and optimization of the Workday HCM module.
    • Oversee all aspects of configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of HCM functionalities.
    • Manage HCM integrations with other internal systems and third-party vendors.
    • Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure Workday HCM meets evolving business needs.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage a team of Workday analysts and administrators, providing coaching, development, and performance management.
    • Lead cross-functional projects with stakeholders from HR, Finance, IT, and external partners to deliver Workday HCM solutions.
  • Strategic Planning & Implementation:
    • Design and implement long-term strategies for the enhancement of Workday HCM.
    • Partner with HR leadership to translate business needs into Workday configurations.
    • Proactively identify and recommend system improvements and enhancements.
  • Issue Resolution & Support:
    • Lead troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root cause analysis for any system-related issues.
    • Ensure efficient and timely support for Workday HCM, providing escalated support for complex issues.
    • Stay up-to-date with Workday releases and ensure proper implementation of new features and updates.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, such as GDPR, SOX, and other relevant regulations.
    • Develop and maintain reporting tools within Workday to generate HR analytics and insights for leadership.
  • Training & Development:
    • Create and deliver end-user training programs to ensure adoption of Workday functionalities across the organization.
    • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday HCM, providing guidance to internal teams.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master s degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience managing Workday HCM modules, including core HR, benefits, payroll, and talent management.
    • Proven experience leading teams and managing Workday implementations, enhancements, and support.
    • In-depth understanding of Workday HCM best practices and industry standards.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    • Advanced knowledge of Workday reporting tools, security setup, and integrations.
    • Experience with change management processes and business process improvements.
