About the role
The ideal Account Executive candidate has experience in opportunity hunting, developing consultative solutions, relationship nurturing, and deal closing. You will own the entire sales lifecycle, from following up with qualified inbound prospects to targeting outbound leads. Working closely with prospective customers, you'll understand their business objectives and educate them on Teampay's solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to align our product roadmap and marketing materials with customer feedback. Moreover, you'll ensure visibility and reporting for management.

Common candidate qualifications include:
- 3-5 years of SaaS quota-carrying sales experience
- Goal-oriented and competitive approach
- Articulate, concise oral and written communication
- Familiar with value-based selling, and at least one major sales methodology
- Ability to use listening and empathy to solve customer pain points
- Outstanding organizational and sales process skills
- Experience selling into the office of the CFO (CFO, Controller, Finance) of mid-market businesses
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders within an organization (Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, etc) and understanding how to navigate the sales cycle
- Familiarity with finance, economics or accounting
