Work Order Coordinator

Location: Boise, ID

Schedule: Monday – Friday; Days

Position Summary:

The Work Order Coordinator is responsible for the management of construction work orders through the entire work order process. The Work Order Coordinator will collaborate stakeholders and track work orders to ensure the work order safety, scope, schedule, and documentation are all completed per the work order process.

Requirements And Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of construction and maintenance safety ( OSHA 10 or equivalent).
  • Works with trades teams to identify and mitigate any safety hazards.
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with project stakeholders.
  • Ability to gain information from the owner and ensure that information is passed on to all stakeholders.
  • Organize and lead field walks as necessary.
  • Self-Starter.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Able to prioritize tasks.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Ability to track 100’s of work orders and ensure they are completed and closed out properly.
  • Good understating of MS Office.
  • Ability to learn facilities work order and maintenance system to track work orders.
  • Ability to work within a team and lead the team when necessary.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Create and form trusting relations ships with engineering and trades partners.
  • Possess strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Possess excellent technical skills.
  • Understanding of Semiconductor cleanrooms, Facilities systems, and Hazardous Production Materials ( HPMs).
  • Understanding of Engineering disciplines and their scope.
  • Ability to understand Facilities Engineering and Construction Business Plan as to what constitutes a work order and what work orders need to be escalated to a project.
  • Understand the limits of work order scope as it relates to Process Hazzard Analysis, design, QA/QC, and Finance requirements.
  • Ensure all safety documents are in place prior to work being performed ( decommissioning forms, JHA’s, etc.).
  • Ability to create a work plan to organize and schedule trades and operations to complete the work order scope of work.
  • Ability to recognize and prevent scope creep.
  • Perform ad hoc estimates for work to be completed.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer associate degree in technical field or Journeyman License

Experience:

  • 3-5 years semiconductor or industrial maintenance experience
  • 2-3 years related experience with AAS technical degree or Journeyman Level experience in relevant field.
