We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Software Developer in Davenport, Iowa. The successful candidate will be part of our team, focusing on developing and troubleshooting software applications, collaborating with the development team, and ensuring the functionality and efficiency of our software solutions.

Responsibilities:

Translate application requirements into coded features
Write high-quality source code to program application features within deadlines
Conduct unit and integration testing before delivering to the software team for formal testing
Collaborate with the software testing team for functional and non-functional testing
Work with the development team to set specifications for new applications
Debug applications and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Assist technical writers in documenting source code and understanding functions for end-user documentation
Maintain a strong understanding of programming for Windows operating systems and platforms using development tools
Utilize skills in various technologies such as SQL, DevOps, Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Server (TFS), .NET, Angular Software, AngularJS, Azure SQL Database, C# - Sharp, ASP.NET, Cloud Computing, T-SQL - Transact-SQL, and Microsoft Azure.

Requirements

Proficient in SQL and T-SQL - Transact-SQL
Experience with DevOps and Azure DevOps
Knowledgeable in Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Familiarity with .NET and ASP.NET
Proficient in Angular Software and AngularJS
Experience with Azure SQL Database
Proficiency in C# - Sharp
Strong understanding of Cloud Computing and Microsoft Azure
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong attention to detail and quality
Proactive, self-directed, and detail-oriented
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Experience with software development methodologies and practices (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
Familiarity with version control systems.
