This is a full-time, on-site position inNew York, NY.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIESinclude, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepare and issue competitive solicitations for construction, consultant services, and goods and services
- Work together with procurement team,suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure the efficient and sustainable implementation of project management procedures across large-scale civil construction projects
- Coordinate and facilitate the procurement process, including evaluating proposals, negotiation of terms and costs, execution of contracts, and ongoing contract administration through contract close-out
- Assist in the development of procurement policies and procedures
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and define procurement requirements and specifications
- Participate in updatemeetings to relay and address client concerns
- Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously; and follow through on projects to successful completion
- Other related duties and tasks as required
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related required, advanced degree is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years ofexperience in the procurement of government contractsin a construction setting
- Experience with federal (FTA and FRA) and state procurement regulations and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
- Prior experience with rail, tunnel, structural, station, or soil constructionis preferred
- Ability to pass a TWIC and/or SWAC Background Check at High Level
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
