Role: AWS Developer

Location: US location (Los Angeles, CA) & Hybrid
The Opportunity:
The customer is one of the largest Energy & Utilities company in USA. We are modernizing their legacy work & asset management applications and moving it to Cloud. This role will be working with DevOps, IaC, Architects, Cybersecurity to understand the infrastructure and security requirements and working with development teams to develop and implement/modify infrastructure by following governance and process through CI/CD and IaC tools and technologies.
Job Description:
Below are the key requirements for this role:
10+ years of strong experience in Developing and hosting Serverless applications on AWS using NodeJS, React, and PostgreSQL.
Experience in building AWS infrastructure using Terraform and setup CI/CD using DevOps tools like GitHub and Azure DevOps
Experience in building and managing AWS RDS databases
Experience in building REST API using NodeJS, and AWSAPI Gateway
Experience in integrating security scanning tools (eg.Checkmarx) with CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge in OpenAPI/Swagger Specifications and Experience in integrating with REST API using Apigee
Through knowledge in implementing authentication & authorizing using Microsoft Entra ID, AWS Cognito, OAuth 2.0, AD Groups, etc.
Experience in working data migration tools like AWS DMS and SCT
Should be able to prepare design documents
Should be able to work with cross functional teams to learn and adapt organization process and security guidelines
Ready to work with multi-vendor teams from distributed locations
Experienced in Agile Scrum & SDLC methodologies
Experience handing production defects/incidents (Sev-1/Sev-2/Sev-3)
Good communication skills, Analytical, Problem-Solving, and debugging skills
Good to Have skills:
Experience working with Azure Cloud technologies
Understanding UI/UX designs
