About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, working closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams. This is an excellent opportunity for entry level candidates or those with up to 3 years of experience looking to grow their career in project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and coordination of IT projects from initiation to completion.
• Support the development of project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring all are aligned with business goals.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including IT teams, vendors, and clients.
• Help identify risks and issues, escalating them to senior project managers when necessary.
• Maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and project schedules.
• Track project performance to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
• Assist in the preparation of project status reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in project management, IT, or related roles (internships and co-op experiences considered).
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools like Jira, Trello, or MS Project.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in project management methodologies such as CAPM or Agile (optional but a plus).
• Experience with IT projects or familiarity with IT systems, software, or infrastructure.
