Senior ArcGIS/.NET Developer (100% Remote [In Wisconsin] [135135])

The State of Wisconsin is seeking a Geospatial Solutions Developer Senior II. The developer will use software development programs to plan, construct, implement, and document Geographic Information System (GIS)-related tools and data components. This position requires in-depth knowledge of geospatial technology and its application in automated tool building, integration with other technologies, and scientific disciplines. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in programming techniques, application development, and the evaluation of user requests.
The developer will consult with users to gather and understand current and future business objectives. They will use industry-standard frameworks and tools to capture project requirements and convert them into logical steps for coding using languages such as .NET, C#, and JavaScript.

Additional Details:
The posting is open to nationwide candidates.
The candidate will work remotely, but occasional office visits may be required (sufficient notice provided), and the candidate is responsible for associated costs for the onsite visits.
This position does not require Wisconsin residency.
The project duration is through June 30, 2025, with the possibility of extension.
