Java Microservices Developer (W2 Only)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices applications following best practices and architectural patterns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation of microservices
• Implement RESTful APIs and communicate effectively with front-end developers to integrate services into web applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets performance and scalability requirements
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and deployment of microservices using CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability of microservices
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations in microservices architecture

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience developing Java-based microservices using Spring Boot, Vert.x, or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Proficiency in using databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB in microservices applications
• Experience with message queues, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous communication patterns
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and tools like Git, Jenkins, and Ansible
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Java programming or microservices development
• Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
• Experience with API gateways, service discovery, and circuit breaking tools
• Understanding of security best practices for microservices, including OAuth, JWT, and SSL
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
