PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifies, analyzes, and generates specifications for the development of technical documentation and engineering drawings tailored to the requirements of Naval aircraft systems
- Interprets engineering data gathered from aircraft inspections, surveys, engineering notes, sketches, blueprints, and photographs in order to create required technical documentation packages
- Ensures that all drawings and documents are in proper format, comply with NAVAIR standards and specifications, and meet the quality, cost, and productivity objectives of the company and the customer
- Suggests and recommends methods to improve or develop technical documentation processes
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of detailing/drafting principles and appropriate system software
Requirements
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of two years specialized vocational training or an AA / AS degree, and 2 to 5 years work-related experience
- AutoCAD experience required
- Final or Interim Secret clearance required to start
DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Modeling experience preferred
