We are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Sr. Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team. The Sr. Purchasing Manager will oversee the company’s procurement activities, ensuring the acquisition of goods and services in a cost-effective, timely, and efficient manner. This role involves developing purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring quality and compliance standards are met. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Undertake the medium and long-term strategy of the procurement center, formulate and implement procurement strategic planning
  • Develop and decompose procurement KPIs, and organize implementation to achieve them, supporting the achievement of organizational business objectives
  • Promote and undertake the promotion and achievement of major procurement projects within the region
  • Promote benchmarking of material procurement, standardize materials and prices, and optimize material costs
  • Ensure the effective connection between the development of materials and the overall procurement function for mass production, as well as the sharing of BU resources, to enhance mass production efficiency
  • Responsible for the procurement process in the region, standardizing the system, optimizing and improving efficiency; regional procurement integrity construction, internal control work management, procurement supply chain risk identification and control; and for purchasing talents building

To be a qualified candidate you must have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in supply chain and mechanical related majors
  • More than 10 years of experience in procurement and management related to injection molding, painting or electroplating, stamping, aluminum extrusion, etc.

Key to being successful in this role:

  • Familiar with: procurement workflow, cost control skills, supplier management skills
  • Mastery: supply market information, procurement negotiation skills, problem analysis/countermeasures/communication/coordination skills
  • Understanding: Financial related knowledge, company product process and manufacturing related knowledge, mechanical & IT related knowledge, on-site production management related knowledge
