Job Overview

As a Junior Technology Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the technology needs of the organization. You will work closely with senior analysts and the IT team to ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems, provide technical support, and assist in the implementation of new technologies. Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT systems, including configuration settings, technical specifications, and user manuals. Assist in creating and updating documentation for processes and procedures.
  • Assistance with Projects: Support senior analysts and the IT team in the planning, execution, and deployment of technology projects. This may include system upgrades, software rollouts, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Data Analysis: Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to support decision-making processes. Prepare reports and presentations as required.
  • User Training: Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT systems, software applications, and best practices.
  • Security Compliance: Adhere to company security policies and procedures. Assist in maintaining the security and integrity of IT systems.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest technology trends, tools, and best practices. Participate in training sessions and workshops as required.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of IT systems, networks, and software applications. Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or prior experience in a similar IT or technology support role.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent.
  • Experience with basic scripting or programming languages.
