Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and ensure the successful implementation of IT solutions that align with business objectives.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and operational processes; conduct interviews, workshops, and user surveys to gather and document business requirements.
• Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements; identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into clear and detailed functional specifications, including user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria for IT projects and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with IT teams (developers, architects, testers) to design and validate technical solutions that meet business requirements and align with IT architecture standards.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle; act as a liaison to ensure mutual understanding and successful project outcomes.
• Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and risk analysis for proposed solutions; evaluate alternative solutions and recommend best-fit options based on cost, benefit, and feasibility.
• Perform data analysis and mapping activities to support data migration, integration, and reporting requirements; ensure data quality and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as business requirements documents (BRDs), system design documents, user manuals, and training materials.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate user training sessions; provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting assistance to business users.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis and systems integration.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Proven experience (X years) as a Business Systems Analyst, IT Business Analyst, or similar role in a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and best practices; experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies is preferred.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modeling (e.g., BPMN), and documentation techniques; familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Visio.
• Experience with system integration, data analysis, and relational databases (SQL); knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze complex business processes and systems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and foster collaboration across teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; ability to document requirements and specifications accurately and comprehensively.
