**Job Summary:**

The Solar Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of Utility solar energy projects within the United States. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in renewable energy, particularly in the solar sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with budget constraints.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Develop and manage project plans, including scopes, budgets, and timelines.

2. Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, construction, and operations) and external stakeholders (clients, vendors, regulatory agencies) to ensure project objectives are met.

3. Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for project execution.

4. Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.

5. Manage project risks, including identification, mitigation, and contingency planning.

6. Prepare and present regular project status reports to the management team and clients.

7. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.

8. Coordinate with the finance team for budget management and cost control.

9. Lead and mentor a team of project coordinators and engineers.

10. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes that impact solar project management.

**Required Qualifications:**

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

2. 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on renewable energy or solar projects and experience with solar project development, including permitting, interconnection, and grid compliance. Experience in leading and developing a project management team is preferred.

3. Professional certification in project management (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) preferred.

4. Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, technologies, and installation processes.

5. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office Suite.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

9. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required for the role.
