Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Loss Mitigation Underwriter to join our client for a remote opportunity! This role involves analyzing financial documents, mortgage files, and other relevant materials to determine the appropriate workout solutions. The underwriter must also maintain any necessary licensing. This Contract opportunity offers $27-$30/Hour!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and underwrite loss mitigation files in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure compliance with established timelines and maintain high standards in decision-making.
  • Analyze mortgage and financial documentation to assess eligibility for loss mitigation options.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding loan status and mitigation options.
  • Maintain consistent, punctual attendance to meet deadlines and workload requirements.
  • Perform any other duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience in underwriting, preferably within loss mitigation.
  • Knowledge of mortgage and financial documents.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Must hold and maintain any applicable underwriting licenses.
