Onsite role with an hourly rate, potential for eventual conversion to full-time staff (salary, benefits, etc.). This position involves a range of responsibilities, from troubleshooting technical issues (desktops, network issues, IT security - CrowdStrike) to providing user training on new software applications. This is a non-traditional IT work environment and includes supporting a manufacturing floor. Infrequent night/weekend work may be required. Office365 support experience required as well.

Key Responsibilities
-Responsible for administering and maintaining systems support for software, hardware, and servers. This encompasses all facets of IT support, ensuring that systems run efficiently, and issues are swiftly addressed to minimize downtime.
-Testing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving all kinds of technical problems. This requires a solid understanding of both hardware and software components and the ability to quickly identify and fix issues.
-Providing timely technical support to users. The specialist works closely with users to understand their issues and devise effective solutions,
ensuring minimal disruption to their workflow.
-Regular updates to hardware and software packages, ensure that all updates are implemented smoothly and that any potential issues are addressed proactively.
-Revises and updates documentation to reflect changes in hardware, software, and procedures, providing a valuable resource for both users and IT staff.
-Install computer and network hardware, this includes setting up new devices, configuring network connections, and ensuring that all hardware is integrated seamlessly into the existing infrastructure.
-Actively monitor systems for malware and other security threats, removing them promptly to protect data and maintain the integrity of IT
systems.
-Ensuring that computer system backups are performed regularly and effectively, monitors backup processes and implements strategies to
safeguard data.
-Provide end-user training on new software applications and other technology is essential. This ensures that users are well-equipped to utilize new tools and technologies effectively, enhancing overall productivity.
