General Duties

  • Perform Tier I Level Support unassisted and Tier II with System Analyst assistance. Respond to and resolve help desk requests over the phone or walk-ins. All trouble calls and request will be entered into a database. Must have experience using remote tools to include Microsoft Remote Desktop Program (RDP). Follow up with customers trouble tickets as required.
  • On Systems, be able to create new users, resetting user passwords, lock/unlock user accounts, monitor server security, Monitor special services.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting support for both hardware and software issues. Must be proficient in management and functionality of the applications within the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Exel, Access, and Outlook).
  • System Administrator must be an expert/proficient in Microsoft Operating Systems for Desktops and Android Operating Systems for phone/cell, palm devices and tablets.
  • Understand basic Microsoft Exchange Services. Expert in the management, configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Outlook.
  • Perform the following installs and updates on user computers: Video drivers; print drivers; security patches; Registry maintenance; Microsoft Hot fixes; Microsoft Service PAKs.
  • Experience with report writing.
  • Monitor the system(s) daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns. Manage application logs. Create and verify backups of data. Be able to perform restores.
  • Administrate infrastructure, including client anti-virus applications, client firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes
  • Create and restore computer images.
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience managing SharePoint and web sites.
  • Maintain software and hardware inventories.
  • Basic understanding of VM processes.
  • Basic understanding of HTML.
  • Basic knowledge on the management and administration of Networks.
  • Basic knowledge on the administration of Deltek Time & Expense and Deltek.

Additional Duties:

Perform various administrative duties that include in-processing personnel, assisting users with various testing requirements (ADLS), administering the Office of Personnel (OPM) eQIP applications for users, and other organization and or company requirements. Additional duties are in direct support of departmental mission requirements.

Experience
Five (5) years experience system administrator experience or AS degree in Computer Science and 5 years related experience.

Education

  • BS degree in Management Information Systems preferred.
  • Must have CompTIA A+ certification

Must be able to attain secret clearance within one year of hire.
