Job Description
We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer III to join our team based in Irvine, California. This role involves working on various projects related to upgrading or implementing new security controls. You will be part of a team that strategizes new technological implementations, monitors systems for cyber security events, and assists in the development and administration of IAM strategy.

Responsibilities:

Strategize and manage projects for the upgrading or implementation of new cyber security controls
Work closely with the supervisor to ensure the solution fits the overall cyber security program
Assist in the development and administration of IAM strategy, with a focus on IdP, PAM, and IGA solutions
Monitor systems for cyber security events and respond to cyber security related incidents
Utilize provided security tools to gain insight into events and incidents, document and report incident findings
Lead investigations on the incident response team
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify system vulnerabilities, report findings to supervisor and other impacted IT teams, and develop and plan remediation requirements
Conduct penetration testing on a routine basis and collaborate with IT teams to remediate any identified vulnerabilities
Develop and promote a strong cyber security culture within the organization through awareness programs and training initiatives
Keep up-to-date with the latest cyber security technologies and industry trends, with a focus on frameworks, threat trends, and overall cyber strategy
Assist in adhering to legal/compliance regulations by implementing required cyber security solutions. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or in a related field.
Proficiency in Cloud Technologies is required.
Strong knowledge of Cyber Security and related practices.
Expertise in Linux, Linux security, Linux System Administration, and Linux Technologies.
Familiarity with SD-WAN, WAN - Wide Area Network, and WAN Technologies.
Understanding of LAN Vs. WAN is needed.
Proficient in Network Security and Network Security Monitoring.
Information - Network Security skills are essential.
CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Comptia Security+ certifications are preferred.
Experience with Endpoint Protection and Endpoint Security is required.
Strong background in Cyber security engineering and Cyber security policies.
Knowledge of Security frameworks and NIST 800-53 is necessary.
Familiarity with IAM and Security Vulnerability is needed.
Experience in Vulnerability Analysis, Vulnerability Assessment, Vulnerability Remediations, and Vulnerability Scanning is preferred.
Experience with Computer Security Incident Response Team and Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT) is a plus.
