Job Description
Creative Director
At Hotels at Home, we are passionate about creating and curating best-in-class and on-brand visual assets that represent the hotel brands we partner with. As Creative Director, you will lead cross-functional asset creation projects from inception to execution, as well as manage the asset creators and managers within our organization. You will need to take the high-level vision from our Brand Management team and bring that vision to life digitally in effective and innovative ways. The Creative Director needs to collaborate with, and update, internal and external partners to drive initiatives, determine image and creative needs, and ensure alignment.
The ideal candidate has experience that demonstrates strong leadership and management skills, strategic thinking, content creation and storytelling that works across various digital applications
What You'll Do
Lead, mentor and inspire the teams responsible for front end design, website design, and image asset management through clear and consistent communication
Manage and drive many concurrent digital and design projects from conceptualization to finished product, adhering to calendar deadlines
Work closely and collaboratively with all cross-functional teams to build brand visuals across all channels with accuracy and consistency
Work effectively with technical teams during and post-production; keep design, brand management and project management teams aware of progress to make sure that project deadlines are met
Oversee the maintenance and application of multiple brand and design standards through a global perspective
Deliver dynamic digital design and photography in service of the concepts, consumers, and culture
Partner with copy and graphic designers to ensure all creative is aligned with a brand-consistent message
Oversee cataloging of photoshoot images and organization/distribution of Images to brands
Keep up to date with trends for e-commerce technology, graphic design, photography, proposing innovation and sharing this knowledge with the team
Attend department, status, direction, presentation, and feedback meetings to offer creative input and ensure that all assigned work is communicated and informed back to relevant partners
Always look for creative ideas to drive business improvements, innovation, and customer experience
What You'll Need
Strong communication, presentation and workflow management skills
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Bachelor s Degree and 3+ years of leadership experience in a consumer brand environment
A full understanding of the creative, photographic and digital processes as they relate to photo shoot and image production
Ability to think conceptually and design aesthetically, translating creative direction into visual references
Expert knowledge of typography and graphic design principles
Experience being part of a team for photo/video shoots
